Finishing Trades Institute Apprenticeship Program

This program is designed both to introduce new workers to the construction industry and to enhance the skills of existing laborers. With a variety of apprenticeship tracks available, including Building Trades, Heavy Highway, Utility, and Environmental, apprentices have the flexibility to explore different areas of construction that align with their personal interests and lifestyle choices. Emphasizing an Active Based Learning approach, the program centers around participant-driven education, facilitated by ANSI Certified Adult Educators using accredited materials. This ensures a tailored learning experience that accommodates individuals from diverse backgrounds and educational levels.

On-the-job training combined with educational courses, leading to an Associate Degree of Applied Science in Elevator Construction from Ivy Tech Community College of Indiana upon completion.
