The International Union of Elevator Constructors, Local 10 was established in 1902. There is no other vehicle in the world that moves more people and material than elevators, escalators, moving walkways, home lifts, wheelchair and handicap lifts. The elevator industry is ever changing. With these rapid changes in technology comes a higher demand for individuals to repair, install, maintain, and modernize these transportation modes.
