Bricklayers & Allied Craftworkers Apprenticeship Program

One of the oldest unions in North America the Bricklayers & Allied Craftworkers represents the skilled bricklayers, stone and marble masons, tile setters, terrazzo and mosaic workers, finishers, and pointer/cleaner/caulkers. The Journeyperson of Bricklayers and Allied Craftworkers Local 1 lay and bind building materials, such as brick, structural tile, concrete block, cinder block, glass block, and terra-cotta block, with mortar and other substances to construct or repair walls, partitions, arches, sewers, and other structures.

Wages

Journeyman wage: $20 to $42 per hour, plus additional benefits ranging from $8 to $19 per hour. Apprentices start earning between 50% to 70% of the journeyman scale, with incremental increases.
